This cozy mountain modern home, tucked into the slopes of Telluride Colorado, was designed to not only be a place for peaceful aging in place but also a place to inspire a fulfilling and recreative life after retirement. At 3,645 square feet, Telluride Slopes was designed with careful consideration for entertaining guests with large outdoor deck and patio spaces, three guest rooms, and large gathering areas including two living rooms, dining room, and bar. 

The orientation of the house offers serene views of the Colorado mountains and is located less than four miles from a popular ski resort. The main building forms consist of a series of volumes and roofs that gradually slope downwards, inspired by these nearby mountains and ski slopes, while the materials of the home were selected to compliment the natural color tones of the surrounding site. Residing near the city and the mountains allows for a more enriched retirement experience with plenty of outdoor hobbies of which to take advantage.
