In this simplified design, square footage is minimized, the low building hugs the site, and the mono pitch roof slants upwards towards the mountainous views. The site orientation to the solar axis allows the guests to be able to wake up to the beautiful sunrise in the morning and watch the sunset on the back porch and/or dining area during the evening.
